I was super excited about this show. Noah Guthrie was one of my favorite voices within the cast of Glee (the top favorite for season 6). He had just come off his appearance on America’s Got Talent (AGT) shortly before this tour started.
This show was mainly original songs from the album The Vally (most recent at the time). He did play some of his most popular songs like his cover of Rhianna’s “Love On The Brain” (as heard on AGT and Youtube). Let me tell you he did not disappoint in this performance.

He talked to the audience a little bit; not as much as Darren and Leah but it was more of a straight-up concert (that meant there wasn’t any Glee talk going on but he did mention AGT). Regardless of audience interaction, I found him to be very soothing.
His voice sounded exactly like it did on Glee. It was very deep, blues-like, and country-styled. I found myself very relaxed while he sang. That didn’t mean there weren’t people dancing around cause there certainly was. Yes I typed that and it’s true there were people dancing in the isle, apparently, it’s a thing at this venue, so you know it was a good time.

Then it was over and I was sad. But then excitement set in; he was doing an after-show meet-and-greet. I was totally unaware that was happening so I had a lot of giddy anxiety. I took some deep breaths and pressed on.
I gotta say I am super happy that Noah was the first Glee cast member that I met. He was so nice and sweet. He stayed and talked to everyone. I totally geeked out and told him I had been a huge fan since Glee and he said thanks and that “glee was very good to [him]” it was awesome. He signed my vinyl of his album that I bought (making him my first Glee autograph as well). It was a really great time.
I continue to follow his career on youtube and social media. He was doing some youtube live shows on Thursdays during quarantine where he interacted with the audience. I mentioned this concert and he remembered it! It was nice. It also shows just how humble and sweet of a person he is.
