This item was worn in the opening performance of episode 11 of season 3 of Glee This episode was titled Michael and was the tribute episode to the late Michael Jackson. This ringmaster like outfit pays homage to the period when Michael Jackson sequin jackets that he wore in the late 1980s to the 1990s.
The top was worn by Naya Rivera who portrayed Santana Lopez. It was paired with a cheerios cheerleading skirt and plain white tank top. The shoes were the same ones that Naya wore during the Smooth Criminal performance in this episode but were not included in this bundle (a handwritten post-it note on the wardrobe tag confirms this).
As there is no tag on the sequin top so it is believed that the top was made specifically for this performance. This particular item is very heavy in weight and has impeccable detail. The skirt was the standard Broadway Supply style that was used for all the cheerios costumes.
The skirt does have the name Naya printed on it. It also has some discoloration on the white portion of the inside of the skirt. I am not sure if this is sweat stains or maybe some type of cleaning agent stain. The undershirt is a standard white tank top made by Theory in a size small (also labeled with the name Santana on the tag).
