This was truly amazing; a literal gleek dream. Darren, not only a gifted actor and singer, did a great job of telling stores from Glee and his career. I was so incredibly giddy during this live stream and really enjoyed every minute of it. It was a great way to celebrate ten years of Blaine Anderson.

Darren was just so humble and you could tell that he really meant every word he was saying. He did a great combination of songs and stories from Glee. I absolutely screamed when he put on his warbler jacket; it was an iconic moment of the show.

A few of my favorite highlights from the show are his performance of Cough Syrup and Somewhere Only We Know. He opened with a clip from his audition for Glee and then went into a rendition of Everybody Wants To Rule The World. I won’t spoil the entire thing for you; the wonder Darren Criss Italian Fanclub has the entire live stream available to view on Facebook! If you’re a major Glee fan you seriously need to watch it.

Darren did do a virtual Meet and Great where he did mention people’s names during the program. I opted not to participate in that package deal. I opted to not do this because I knew I would have some super anxiety. He also did some auctions where he donated the proceeds to several charities; The Trevor project (one of my favorites), Teach for America, The ACLU, and the Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund. How cool?!

It was an all around great event. I am so gratefult that I got to stream it live and even more grateful that I get to share it with all of you reading this.
