These are copies of the William McKinley High school newspaper called the Muckraker. These were brought in, in Season 2 episode 19 of the show Glee. This is the episode that is also sort of a tribute episode to the iconic album Rumors by Fleetwood Mac.

I have no confirmation that these copies were handled by anyone in the cast; they are said to have been on screen at least (where I am not sure). They did come with a certificate of authenticity so I know they are legitimate and from the television show. They could have been in Beckie Jackson’s newsies bag or maybe just on a desk somewhere. Regardless they are pretty cool.

They have made-up stories in them. Some of the ‘articles’ repeat the same two or three paragraphs to fill up a section. Something like that is expected for a television or movie newspaper and or book prop. The ads that they have are pretty awesome. They are made up of businesses and a few we see used in the series; ‘Hummel Automotive Service and Repair’ (later called ‘Hummel Tire and Lube’) and ‘The Lima Bean’ are the top two listed in the newspaper.

The Muckraker is mentioned in several other episodes throughout the series after this one. But they are not visible in any other episode after Season 2.
